Taking flight

The last session had been a really overwhelming one because of two reasons one being our last session and the other being the topics of discussion.

We discussed workplace harassment and it made me think that sometimes it might not feel like we are being beleaguered but it is so. The harassment has no bounds for gender, age, ethnicity, and educational level.

Like Tamora says

She’s all over us like maggots on garbage.

A great deal of strength is required to speak on a controversial topic but one can do this among their amazing circle of peers as they may somehow or at some time faced the same difficulty but may not be able to speak up or share their problems with their fellows.

LAST SESSION’S LAST PICTURE

It was an amazing experience to listen to others’ experiences. It helps you not only to learn from them but also it helps them uplift them emotionally, as they feel like there is someone who will pay attention to them and may be able to help them if they require it.

My whole journey has been an amazing one full of learning new things, full of fun, and lots of worthwhile learning experiences of fellows. I intend to use all the tips from here as much as I can do. For this, I have made a shortlist of things that I lack or need more work on. I will practice these things like talking in English with my comrades, family, and teachers as much as I can until it becomes a habit.

Amal fellowship has provided me with a lot of new amazing people in my life and I will do my best to keep in contact with them. Well, I’m planning to talk to them once a week at least and arrange a meet-up whenever we can.

I hope all of my fellows have a great journey full of glee, bliss, joy, and professional uplift, for which they are working quite hard.
